Honor Flight Network recognizes American veterans for their sacrifices and achievements by flying them to Washington, D.C. to see THEIR memorials at no cost.
PRIORITY — Top priority is given to WWII veterans that have not yet visited their memorial. Exceptions will be made for terminally ill veterans (from any conflict/war) who have never visited war/conflict memorials in Washington, D.C. Next priority will be Korean War veterans then Vietnam veterans and continue in chronological order of conflicts:
WW II: December 7, 1941- December 31, 1946
Korean War: June 25, 1950 – January 31, 1955
Vietnam War: February 28, 1961 – May 7, 1975
If you served ANYWHERE at ANY TIME during the above dates you are considered a veteran of that war/conflict.
Volunteer guardians fly with the veterans on every flight, providing assistance and helping veterans have a safe, memorable and rewarding experience. For more information on being a guardian, click here.
For what veterans and their comrades have given to us, we hope they consider this a small token of appreciation from all of us at Honor Flight Network.
If you know of someone who is a World War II veteran or a veteran with a terminal illness, please fill out an application and send it in. And remember, every World War II or terminally ill veteran flies free. We will not accept donations from our veterans.
