Once again, BHF has been invited to co-host the Ladies Must Swing Hangar Dance. From 7 until 11 you can dance to the great tunes they crank out. LSM have been supporters of BHF since our first flight, playing at most of our Welcome Home Celebrations. Come out and support them and BHF as we will have the beer. wine, soda, and water concession and many 50/50 raffles. 40′s era clothing is not only appropriate but encouraged.
On the evening of June 29, Slices Bar and Grill, 2417 Pennsylvania Ave., Madison, is hosting another Steak Feed, where the proceeds go to BHF. Food, drinks, and many great raffle prizes. Come join the party!
Papa Murphy’s five Madison area locations will donate 10% of all sales to BHF on the day of June 12. Buy more than one, the leftovers are great! This is the second time they have done it this year and two more are coming up in the next two quarters. Help us make each one better than the last.
Join at the Capital Brewery Bier Garten for music and food on the evening of May 24. We will be flipping burgers, brats and hot dogs, along with chips, while you enjoy your favorite beverage from Capital Brewery and listen to some great Music.
On May 21, Culver’s in Wisconsin, the U.P. and northern Illinois, will be donating 10 % of all sales to the various Honor Flight hubs in their area. We have 29 Culver’s in the area BHF serves. Bring your friends and family to your nearest Culver’s for lunch and dinner.

On May 19, join us at The Jefferson, 9401 Old Sauk Rd. Middleton, for lunch from 12:30 to 3:00PM, with all proceeds going to BHF. Brats, hot dogs, baked beans, coleslaw, potato, desserts and beverages for $10 per adult, $5 for children 10 and under.

On Saturday, May 11, Boondockers Street Rod Ltd., will be hosting their 37th annual car show at the Concord House in Concord, WI, for 9AM to 3PM. They will be having a fundraiser for BHF in conjunction with the show.
On Saturday, May 26, eighteen area greenhouses and garden centers are joining us to raise funds for flying our Veterans to DC.
Put off buying your spring plantings until then, and as you watch them grow this summer, you can not only enjoy their beauty, but the knowledge that you helped grow our Flight fund. Badger Honor Flight Volunteers will be on hand to distribute info, answer questions, supply you with Veteran applications, and accept your donations. You might even have the chance to chat with a WWII or Korean Veteran who has flown with us.

Our Third Annual Badger Honor Flight Golf Outing will take place at The Legend at Bergamont golf club in Oregon WI on Monday, May 20, 2013. This popular spring event includes a box lunch, 18 Hole 4-person scramble (including cart), cocktails, buffet dinner, prizes and silent auction.
For every $500 raised at the outing we are able to fly another WWII or Korean War veteran to Washington DC to see the memorials built in his/her honor.
